Awakening Connections; Creating Community is a unique three-part program for Waldorf school communities in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
During three in-person sessions, faculty, staff, parents, and board members are invited to meet one another as human beings outside of their roles in the schools.
Working with Biography and Social Art creates a foundation that supports the ability to enter into the challenging issues of our times.
Meet the challenges of community life
with greater empathy, imagination, and understanding.
This year-round program helps foster a new imagination for community through the exploration of life phases.
We use artistic and imaginative exercises to gently open up biographical experiences related to the overall theme. We practice listening deeply, while observing confidentiality with each other.
It is a time for renewal, rebuilding our strength and connecting with the wellspring of the spirit within us all.
Financial aid is available for qualifying schools.
Individual Workshops
Talleres Individuales
These workshops—offered via Zoom or in person—are designed to provide social and spiritual support for individuals and groups within independent and public Waldorf schools, as well as Anthroposophical communities. Through artistic and imaginative exercises, participants are invited to explore biographical experiences connected to a shared theme selected for the workshop.
Together, we cultivate a space of deep listening, mutual respect, and confidentiality. Online workshops accommodate up to 23 participants, while in-person gatherings with the facilitator are not limited in size. Workshops may be offered in 2-4 hour formats. See examples of workshops below.

This introductory workshop brings us together to awaken to the importance of community; to discover and appreciate how the diversity of our unique experiences weave together in our interconnected lives. Through artistic exercises we will create a safe space for real listening to take place and empathy to arise.

Division and polarization are the signatures of this age. How can this tendency be met in a constructive way so that a meeting, human to human, in a space between two extremes can still take place? You’re invited to practice finding a way.

A deeper empathy and understanding arises as we open ourselves to the unique ways in which we see and ‘be’ in the world. This appreciation of diversity brings new insights and imaginations for self and others.

Biography of a School

Experience the living biography of your school by exploring its people, milestones, turning points, and moments of growth—from its earliest vision to the present day. Through creating a shared timeline, participants reconnect with their own journey into Waldorf education while discovering the evolving story of the school community.
This process deepens commitment, trust, and a sense of shared responsibility for the school's future. Through art, reflection, and small-group conversations, participants gain a clearer picture of the next steps for the school and the unique role each person can play in its continued growth.
